Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklifts provide versatility and height. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is designed to raise workers is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forks on the forklift and a chain or strap is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
