Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being designed and developed all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
