Caterpillar Narrow Aisle Forklifts Minnesota
Narrow Aisle Forklift
Made to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage areas which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This model is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering easy.
The operator of this type of forklift usually stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This configuration enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several models of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the entire machine. The sit-down version normally has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power numerous narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered equipment do not make exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the preferred option for closed places such as retail spaces. Several lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. Then again, the diesel model is not suggested to be used indoors since it can produce exhaust and be noisy.
