FM GRU Tower Cranes were established during the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial place in northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various types of presses, forklifts, farming machinery and prefabrication molds.
The business started crane production during 1963. Over time, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the field of lifting.
